Laughing woman smile with great teeth

Would you consider your dental hygiene part of your beauty routine? I do, and you should. Having healthy teeth makes a big impact on your appearance but it is often the most neglected part of a beauty routine. I understand why that is though, it can be tedious and boring, it isn’t colourful like makeup and it doesn’t feel nice like skincare, and looking after your teeth can often remind you of the dreaded dentist …. BUT … think of it this way, if you don’t look after your teeth you will be at the dentist sooner and more often than you want to be. As an out-and-proud lazy girl (actually, not necessarily proud of it) I know how easy it is to forget about your teeth but I do everything in my power to keep my teeth healthy so my trips to the dentist are pain-free. I have never needed a filling (touch wood) … and that I am proud of!

I am not going to preach about the importance of professional cleans and regular check-ups because you probably know just how important it is. What I am going to tell you about is how you can keep your teeth healthy, at home and with minimal effort.  Continue Reading

Confession time: My feet are so flat they could be used as a spirit level. I used to have perfectly arched feet but since I started working from home and wearing the likes of slippers, ugg boots and thongs, my feet have dropped to an all time low. As a result, wearing heels in any form is now excruciatingly painful. Wearing flats for the rest of my life is NOT an option so I turned to Scholl and their Party Feet range to find some relief. Their newest release are the Soft Touch gel cushions and I am going to share my review today. Continue Reading

BUT, I don’t think I have ever been more excited to discover that one brand makes beauty products …. yep, Crayola. If you didn’t grow up using Crayola pens, crayons, pencils and other colouring-in products you had a deprived childhood. I can say that because Crayola was a ‘top-shelf’ brand in my primary school days. It was like the Porsche of colouring-in products (Faber-Castell were the Lambourghini’s). So when I saw The Beauty Delicacy showed this off on her Google Plus page my jaw hit the floor.

Like every good beauty addict blogger, I instantly started hunting down the Crayola range and here is what I have found. I can only find them in the USA (for now). Needless to say, these are all on my shopping list! Continue Reading

The Beauty Moisture Facial Cleanser from Dove is considered to be their liquid form of their famous Beauty Bar. I have previously told you that I use the Dove Beauty Bar as a secret weapon but I had never used it on my face as I do not like to use bar soaps on my face or body, so the liquid form of this new cleanser really appealed to me. I trialled this face cleanser for just over 1 month.  Continue Reading
