Last Thursday (26 May) we celebrated the wonderful birthday of yours truly, The Plastic Diaries. Yes, we reached the ripe old age of 1. I mentioned to you briefly that today (May 30) I will be celebrating with a big giveaway. For those of you who are regular readers of The Plastic Diaries you may notice that today is the last Monday of the month, which is usually when we have our monthly giveaway, but this month I wanted to honour our 1st birthday by doing something a little different. Instead of giving away just 1 product that I love from the past 30 days, I wanted to do a years worth. This giveaway features products or brands I have mentioned in the past year, whether it had been a review or a special offer, there is a mix of everything.

Why This Giveaway

Before I get into the prizes and competition nitty gritty, I just wanted to say a few quick words. HA! I know, I have never said a ‘few’ or ‘quick’ words in my lifetime, but I will try.

Making it to the 1 year mark for me means a lot. It has been a tiresome, exhausting, crazy and joyful ride that I wouldn’t have changed a minute of. However, how this past year has been for me is of no real importance. This past year has really been about you. Talking to you, sharing with you and having fun with you. More than anything I hope you have learnt something while reading The Plastic Diaries but also had a little fun. Some of you openly express your opinions, via the comments, Twitter or Facebook, and I love every time you do. Others sit there quietly and support me from a far, I love that too.

Todays giveaway is for every single one of you who have ever logged on to The Plastic Diaries. I want to give something back to you and really show you that I care about you. Your aspirations, hopes and dreams move me forward and I want to celebrate that. I may not be the richest girl in the world but I think little gifts are a great way to show you care about someone. Blixz – Fancy Florentine Silver Nail Foils

Nail foils are all the rage, and have been for at least a year now. They were in fact one of the first things I discovered because of this blog and I am so glad I did. Blixz have a MASSIVE range and their foils will work on both natural nails, acrylics, gels and even silk wrapped nails. Only of my favourite designs is the Fancy Florentine and the Silver & White make for a beautiful yet fun combo. Herbal Essences – Smooth Lovin’ None Of Your Frizzness Serum

This serum is just so fantastic I had to take the opportunity to do another giveaway. It astounds me how good this product is with it’s such a tiny price. I apply this serum as soon as I have finished lightly towel drying my hair. Whether I leave it to air dry or I blow dry it, there is zero frizz and my hair feels super soft.

Make Up For Ever – Aqua Eyes Waterproof Eye Liner

Surely by now you are asking where the Make Up For Ever product is? Understandable, I am a MUFE addict. Probably my most prized possession is my Aqua Eye liner in 4L (Shimmering Plum). It is my go-to eyeliner and one I recommend overtime someone says they are looking for a new eyeliner. Love. It. Now you can have one too

Schick Intuition – Limited Edition Renewing Moisture Razor Kit

Looking back over the past year I have realised I like razors far more than I thought. One that I am currently using and absolutely adore is the Pomegranate Limited Edition Schick Intuition. It smells amazing and really is such a delight to use. My in-shower trips to the floor have been down 45% since erasing the need for shaving gel!

Neosporin Lip Health – Daily Hydration Therapy

This little lip treatment wins the award for travelling the furthest distance. Yes, it has come all the way from the USA, one of my most beloved places for shopping beauty products. This was the first lip treatment I really fell in love with since starting up The Plastic Diaries and there is no way I couldn’t include it in the bigt 1st birthday giveaway.
