I love cosmetic enhancement. It doesn’t just have to be surgical or even injectable but just anything to enhance ones looks. Obviously that is a huge part of why I write this blog.

When I first started to think about having my nose job I tried bookstores and my local newsagent for any magazines or books that provided some insight. For me, this all started about 10 years ago, so I was young and no one I knew wanted to discuss plastic surgery with me because they thought I was being ‘silly’. It was very frustrating and the fact I had to wait another 5 years before I could revisit the topic was upsetting.

If I had Troy Thompson’s book back when I needed it then it would have saved me many hours of pointless internet research. Guide to The Younger You is the first book from Troy Thompson, the hunky hairdresser as seen on Channel 9′s short lived makeover series 10 Years Younger in 10 Days. The book is a real gem, full of information that you may otherwise never know. It covers all aspects of Beauty and even includes parts on Wellbeing. For those who are interested in updating their looks there is vital information from some of Australias most qualified, such as Brad Ngata talking hair cut & colour and skincare from Will Fennell of Priori.

My favourite section is the Injectables and Cosmetic Surgery. These two chapters offer amazing information that you would usually find out at a consultation with a surgeon that costs hundreds of dollars. The sections include detailed breakdowns of every procedure you can think of, including diagrams and real life before & after images. This book is vital if you have ever thought about cosmetically enhancing your looks. There is no sugar coating, just simple easy-to-read information.

The book also includes a few vouchers at the back relating to certain chapters, and while they offer huge savings, I don’t recommend you buy this book just for those. This book is a great tool to use for information and I strongly believe you should never go through with any cosmetic enhancement without being 100% informed.
