With the Australian dollar being so strong at the moment, you may be finding it difficult to resist the temptation to jump on an LA bound flight to stock up on your Beauty faves. The fact I live near Sydney Airport is especially difficult because if it wasn’t for the electric fence I would jump over and stow myself neatly in an over head compartment when no one was looking. Desperate much? Well thankfully I don’t have to this week because I am heading to Las Vegas for a Blogging conference. Yes, they actually have a conference for that!
So what do you do if you can’t quickly make up some job related hoopla to get yourself over there? Order online! The Aussie dollar is almost on par with the USA, the pound is at an astounding 60 pence or more, and then there is the Canadian dollar that we are a mere .002 cents off equal. It is crazy times and god knows it might not last for long.
My advice is to take advantage while you can. Be adventurous, and if you have never tried online shopping, now is the time! Unfortunately there are still many sites that don’t offer shipping to Australia and it is a huge loss for them (*cough* Sephora), so let’s focus on the sites that do recognise our fine country as a profitable market.

The Nordstrom website will not ship to Aus for brands such as Bobbi Brown and Lancome! Does anyone know any other ways to order from the US apart from Strawberrynet? Would be much appreciated!

I have looked into this a bit more and Bobbi Brown is a hard one for sure! I have been informed that Nordstrom will ship Bobbi Brown internationally however there are limitation on which products to which countries. Unfortunately there is no specific list as to which products will or won’t be sent but I am still looking into it. Hopefully I will find another store that is a little more flexible!
