This year is really flying by, and here we are, just one week away from yet another Mothers Day (that is this coming Sunday, May 8 …. for those playing at home). I wholeheartedly believe that moms do deserve a day to be honoured. God knows that my poor mother has to deal with me, a complicated genius (*pats myself on the back*), and I am sure she is not the only one. So why not throw her some extra pressies one Sunday every year.

I agree it is just like Christmas, another creation by the retail gods to get us to spend more money, but I think this one guilts us more than any other. No matter how many times my mother says not to buy her anything, I still do. How many of you are in the same situation?

The only thing I despise about Mothers Day is actually picking a present. Moms are really difficult! So this year I have decided to share with you my thoughts on some Mothers Day gift ideas and who they would be perfect for.
