Bumble and Bumble are a New York based collection of Salons who also happen to make some of the greatest Hair Products known to man. I think their cute name really gives you an instant idea of what their brand is about. Bb is all about fun, light-heartedness and authentic creativity, and their looks are everywhere in New York. The Bumble and Bumble at-home products have been available from some time (even in Australia) but they are still only ‘known’ amongst hair enthusiasts and the extremely up-to-date beauty addicts. This week saw Bumble and Bumble products hit Sephora stores nationwide, officially making them accessible to the masses. To celebrate, I bought a bunch of products and the first one I am going to tell you about is their super-duper Hair Powder.

Dry Shampoo is nothing all that new, and we have even seen coloured Dry Shampoo come through slowly across many high profile Hair Care brands. Having tried some others and being a Brunette, I still was not all that impressed because it still made my hair look dull or even GREY. This time around, I tried the product in store before purchasing and gave it a proper 24hrs for me to decide if I liked it. Good news, I loved it!

The Bumble and Bumble Hair Powder is applied via an aerosol can and comes in 3 shades for coloured hair, Blonde, Brunette and Black. For me, the Brunette was a perfect match. It is a rich dark brown and even after combing through you don’t loose the colour. It soaked up the oil on my roots and let me prolong my freshly straightened hair another day just like I had hoped for.
