The Fragrance Foundation Australia – Top 20 Favourite Fragrances of 2010

Lola comes in 3rd place after a double win to Chanel
Perfumes and fragrance are something I openly admit knowing very little about. For me it is up there with wine and cuts of meat. Wouldn’t have a clue. Yesterday an email popped into my inbox from The Fragrance Foundation Australia and it was something I found very helpful. Why, you wonder?

When people ask me what fragrances I like I usually say sweet, because I know I like the smell of sweet things. Funnily enough ‘sweet’ isn’t an actual fragrance family, so taking a look at this Top 20 list gave me the chance to see what family I tend to like. Turns out, I go for a Soft Floral or Floral. I think that is strange because I am not exactly a fan of flowers. I mean, they look pretty, but I can’t stand the smell.

Oh and it is also handy to sticky beak at what people seem to buy. Some of these I wouldn’t have guessed in a million years.

I like woody oriental fragrances and mossy woods. Great timing putting up this post! I’m looking for a new fragrance for winter and I was favouring Narciso Rodriguez for her. :)

I didn’t want to say anything to the rest of the lovely beauties but I did do this post just for you. Shhhhh, keep it between us ;)

Oh and please tell me what you think of the Narciso Rodriguez for her. I was looking at it cause I think the bottle is pretty. I am a packaging whore.
