Skin Physics – Cellugen Eye Revive Review

Skin Physics Cellugen Eye Revive

I have been really keen to try something from the Skin Physics range for a while. I see all the ads and the displays in stores, and then there is the shiny red packaging which always captures my eyes. So speaking of eyes, the Cellugen Eye Revive seemed the perfect product to put to the test.

The eye gel boasts capabilities of hydrating the eye contour to brighten the skin and remove puffiness, dullness or bags. In turn that would help reduce fine lines and wrinkles but this product also says it has the power to prevent. Seeing as though I am still relatively young, and my fine lines require a 12x magnified mirror to be visible, I was obviously looking to it for the preventative factor.

My Findings ….

  • The gel is very thin and feels like a large percentage of the base is water. It felt like it made it go on smoother and dry quickly.
  • I definitely felt a tightening of the skin in the area I applied it but couldn’t see any change in the contour
  • There was an ever so slight reduction of puffiness on the top of my cheekbone area
  • The skin looked shinier but I wouldn’t say ‘brighter’
  • Results lasted for a good 4hrs or so
  • The thin tube is so handy and cute, and even though it is only 15mL, it will last ages because you use such a tiny amount.

Overall the change was there but too small for me to show in photos. I think this product would be more suited to slightly mature skin that shows puffiness. I used the product for 3 weeks straight and while I haven’t seen any increased lines or puffiness, I can’t assume that it is the product preventing it. I will continue to use this product because it does say it is a preventative and as you know, I will do anything to prevent aging gracefully!

What Skin Physics Says ….

An instantly revitalizing, rejuvenating eye gel. Powerfully concentrated and yet supremely gentle, it contains an exclusive apple stem cell extract complex to help reduce and prevent fine lines and wrinkles around the eye, natural antioxidants, such as Australian Kakadu and Davidson Plum, to fight oxidative stress; and an algae extract called PEPHA™-TIGHT to instantly firm and tighten the eye contour.
