Hot off the press, Clinique will be launching a fabulous new product this year that will make all the Chubby lovers go crazy. After the smashing success of their Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm’s, it is no surprise that the brand will be releasing a very similar product for the eyes.
The eyeshadows will come in 12 shades, each with funky names like Lavish Lilac and Curvaceous Coal, a welcome change from the brand who usually aren’t so ‘hip’ with naming their products. I think it is safe to say Clinique will become a much hotter brand in the market this year because of this launch.
According to WWD, the eyeshadows in crayon form will be launched globally in September, excluding Asia who will get them in October. The US recommended retail price will be $16, which is the same price as the Moisturizing Lip Balms. If we go by the fact that the US will be keeping the same RRP, we can assume that Australia will retail them for $35 and UK for £15.
UPDATE 13 Dec 12: I have just been informed that Australia is set to receive these, along with the new Chubby Stick Intense for Lips, in late 2013. As soon as I have more news and a clearer launch date for the global launch I will update you.
What do you think of this new launch? Will you be buying them? Let me know by commenting below!

Oh gosh, I LOVE shadow sticks, they’re great for the application-challenged people like me. So trying these.

Gosh, $35 for one crayon is damned expensive. But that pink crayon on the very right looks absolutely amazing.

I am afraid you aren’t wrong with that one Alice, but I guess this is pretty on par with the current state of our pricing in Australia. Hopefully the prices will come down more before they launch.
