It is no secret I started looking after my skin young. I was barely into my second decade of life when I started fearing aging. I was blessed to never have acne or any serious skin issues, but I did suffer from blackheads. At that time, the only products targeted at teens were acne or pimple clearing, not blackhead clearing.

After a few years of feeling sorry for myself and shlepping to a beautician for painful extractions, Clean & Clear released this very product, Deep Action Cleansing Wipes. They have had a place in my heart ever since.

What I Say ….

• The pre-moistened, square shaped wipes are thick with a thin netting on each side. You can really feel the wipe clearing the dirt off your skin but it is still very soft. No tugging or pulling on your skin.
• The solution is pleasant smelling and refreshing. It doesn’t leave a scent on the skin which is great.
• The formula is moist to touch but leaves no residue behind, nor an oily feeling. It feels clean during and after use.
• It always amazes me how much dirt comes off my face, which you can see afterwards on the wipe.
• I like to use two wipes at a time, one in each hand. I have always wiped my face this way when I use toners, makeup remover, etc. Probably unnecessary but the fact so much dirt still comes off leaves me feeling I am doing the right thing.
• The wipes come packed in a unique, plastic container. I like this packaging because I can unseal, remove a wipe and reseal with just one hand. I have also never had any dry out in this packaging (big win!)
• I would not recommend this product for removing makeup. The wipe is not big enough. It won’t be able to clear away makeup and clean your skin thoroughly enough at the same time.

If you are after a wipe that actually cleans skin and clears impurities like blackheads, this one is for you.
