It has been a long time coming but I have finally reunited with an old love. eBay! I never thought I would need eBay again after finding love with regular online retailers but with the two lots of product I am about to show you, neither could be found on any other site. It drove me insane!
Fimo Canes
After reading this amazing post about Fimo Canes I just had to get some!
‘What the hell’ you ask? Fimo Canes? Well, they are these awesome little sticks that you cut to make cute little nail decals. The genius ‘Chelle at Cosmetic Cupcake got me hooked and the only place I found them was on eBay.
Heaps of sellers were selling them in bulk packs of 100 sticks or more, but being such a newbie to nail art I only wanted to try a few. I found a seller who sold the Fimo Sticks and pre-cut so I bought some of each. As you can see from the pictures there are a mix of flowers, fruits and other shapes. I also picked up some cute little shiny purple hearts and pink flowers.

China Glaze ‘Crackle Glaze’
The most exciting thing to enter my life this year was OPI’s Black Shatter. It had a staring role in the Serena Williams Glam Slam collection and the Katy Perry collection. This product brought back many memories of my old CoverGirl Cracked lacquers and I immediately spun into a frenzy of frantic googling (That word is in the dictionary now!) to find similar products. As it turned out, China Glaze just released their own limited edition 6 piece collection, Crackle Glaze. Bingo!
Despite googling for hours, clicking on every nail store I could find, and hounding every beauty blogger I know, it turned out eBay would be my saviour. One quick search and I found all 6 lacquers with one seller already located in Australia. Brilliant.
I will obviously be showing you these lacquers up close in the coming days but for now ….. just look at them in their pretty bottles and say “oh nail polish, what would I obsess over if you didn’t exist?”

The crack polish is fantastic but does take a bit of getting use to. Mel tried it and found if you put it on to quickly or to many coats you dont get such a great affect.
